Well the tournament at the weekend was disaster, although a venue PB score of 860. 860!!! Nearly 100 off what I was expecting to be getting at this part of the season. Started off with 150 for the first 2 dozen, but then nose dived from there. So back to training on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Went right back to 50yds at first, and have now moved up to 60yds, and starting to put in 4 & 5 gold ends. Will be spending a couple of days at 60 then 80 and finally 100 to get ready for Dunster.
I have wound the bow back from 46lbs to 40.5lbs to assist in feeling the shot better, and this is working, along with a better anchor point. Timing still needs some work, but definately getting there.
